This is a brilliant established route for all seasoned cyclists looking for a challenge or those new to sportive. We’ve given it a little tweak this year taking you through the stunning, picturesque Ashdown Forest, the landscape that inspired the home of Winnie the Pooh!
The 100km route takes you south away from the North Downs on less travelled roads towards Lewes through Burstow, up and over Turners Hill, through Ardingly before heading east through Horsted Keynes and Danehill and into the scenic surroundings of the Ashdown Forest heading north towards Hartfield. The route then turns back, returning via Forest Row and Crawley Down.
Mechanical support:Maison Du Velo will be based at our Turners Hill refreshment stop at 29km and at our Forest Row refreshment stop which is located at their In Gear Cycle Shop and Cafe at 66km, with additional breakdown support at the start/finish.
Route distances and elevations are approximate and subject to change. Changes can be due to road closures or for safety reasons. Any changes will be kept to a minimum where possible.
